When and how did you got involved in the scene?
When I was 15 years old, I lived in a very small town. One of the few shops had some old Vespas in the window, which I found fascinating. Looking at them one day, a local Mod came up to me and told me I had to become a Mod also. I bought my first scooter in 1984 and got involved in Düsseldorf’s Mod scene.
Fave styles of 60s music?
I have a various taste in different music styles. From R’n’B over 6Ts Soul to Northern, I like Freakbeat style music to Psych and also Rocksteady and early Ska
First DJ spot where and when?
I was asked to DJ on a Mod night because the resident DJ was in hospital. At this time, I had only a few LPs. The night became so popular that a lot of people from all over Germany and Belgium went on a regular basis.
Highlights of your “DJ life”?
The next party is always the best!
Hobbies?
My big fave is traveling, collecting party-toys like bubbleshooters or pretty wigs, Repairing my scooter over all the year – it never works.
